Costs Borne by the Buyer

• Conveyance of title (typical cost $500 - $1000).

• Standard survey (cost $500 - $1000).

• Home insurance (premiums vary consult your insurance broker).

• Property Transfer Tax (PTT) which is payable to the Land Title and Survey Authority of BC (1% of the first $200,000 of purchase price and 2% of the balance of the purchase price).

• GST of 6% is payable on new construction (rebates may apply, depending on your purchase price).
